DESCRIPTION: \nOpen Class: 7.00-8.00pm\nCha Cha – Tuesdays: 13th FEB – 06th MAR\nAvailable as your Free Intro Dance Lesson Workshop\nThis Workshop focusses on one (1) Latin or Ballroom dance style for four (4) weeks.\nJust The Facts\n\nIn this 60-minute Workshop give students a chance to learn new dance moves in an environment where you can practice your steps before hitting the dance floor.\nThis is an Open Class\, with different experience levels of dancers being looked after by different teachers.\nWe work on a rotation basis which means it’s not necessary to have a partner to learn any of the dances because we frequently rotate partners during each class.\nThis Class is “drop in” – you attend when you can.\nThere are so many moves across so many dance styles that even if you attended say\, a previous Workshop in this style\, you’ll experience many new moves and routines in the next!.\nEach Class is a “stand alone” workshop offering a complete movement\, technique package\, or routine. Each workshop offers a different package – get a NEW package every time you come along. DESCRIPTION:Rueda en elBarrio – Rueda in the neighbourhood\nCome along for a few minutes or a couple of hours and dance – in the open air (!!!) – Rueda\, couples Salsa\, Bachata\, Merengue\, Cha Cha and more! \nEvery (well\, most ;))Sundays we set up our portable music system\, plug-in some great Latin tunes and just dance! The music is predominantly Salsa\, with an emphasis on good rhythms for Rueda. \nTo change things up a bit we mix in a few other Salsa tracks which are ideal for couples\, plus some Bachata\, Merengue and Cha Cha. \nWhile this is a social events\, NOT a lesson\, we do assist people in some basic Rueda moves. \nWe get lot’s of people stopping to enjoy the dancing\, and have met several new dance friends who just happened by\, heard the music and joined in. \nEveryone is welcome. \nLook around somewhere between the Town Hall and “Jamie’s Restaurant” – or just follow the music. \n\nVideo\nNot sure what Rueda is? Have a look – Rueda en el Barrio \nBy the way\, the dancers in the video are NOT doing a routine or choreography. Rather one of the dancers is “calling” the moves one at a time\, and all the dancers execute that move. Challenging? Yes. Fun? YES!!! \n
